The code

How the battle works.

Claim

Paste a URL or an @handle, name your price, pay. That is the whole form. We pull the name and one-line description off your own site, so there is nothing else to fill in.

Rank is price

The battle is sorted by money, top to bottom. Bidding more than a seat is worth still puts you in it — at whatever rank your money reaches. Nothing is wasted.

The clock

Money does not buy a seat instantly. Outbid someone and a sixty-second clock opens on that seat. Until it runs out the seat is still theirs, and they — or anyone else — can top your bid. Every new bid resets the clock to a full minute, so a seat only settles once a whole minute passes with nobody answering.

No accounts, no email

There is no sign-up, no password, and we never send you mail. A minute is gone before an email lands anyway. Pay and you are in; the browser you paid from remembers your listings. Everything that matters — your rank, your clock, your clicks — is public on the battle, so there is nothing to log in for.

Clicks are the point

Every listing name is a tracked link. Click counts are public, so you can see whether the rank paid for itself.

Fairness

One listing per domain, one per X handle. Chat invites and link shorteners are out. Query strings are stripped. Raising an existing listing costs the difference, not the full amount. Payments go through Stripe; a completed payment is what counts.
